Yet this mild discomfort usually subsides within 24 hours. The entire procedure takes from 60 to 120 minutes in most cases. First things first, Dr. Scarlett will need to carry out an examination of your teeth and a cleaning prior to the Zoom whitening process. It is important to remove plaque and food particles from your teeth, as it can affect the process of whitening.
Our second option is our “take-home” bleaching trays. At the first appointment, we take impressions of the patient’s mouth, and at the second appointment, you receive the trays, solution, instructions, and protective case. This option can also be combined with ZOOM!, allowing you to do touch-ups at home!
